HIGHER EDUCATION FOR ALL
AS PART OF ITS SOCIAL WORK AND REGARDING EDUCATION, FCVC GRANTS SOCIAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION.
MERIT SCHOLARSHIP CONSUELO VIEIRA DA COSTA
Scholarships are granted to all students, at a higher education institution partnered with FCVC, in normal regime (1st year, 1st time) for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with an entry grade equal to or higher than 16. FCVC pays 50% of the basic course fee. In subsequent years, the student must maintain or exceed the grade point average in order to renew the Consuelo Vieira da Costa Merit Scholarship.
FCVC – CTeSP SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarships for admission to Higher Professional Technical Courses (TeSP). These scholarships are awarded under protocols established with secondary schools, vocational schools or other training centers. Each partner school has 3 scholarships at the partner higher education institution, which selects the students according to the ranking of the candidates. FCVC pays 50% of the basic tuition fee. In subsequent years, the student must pass all the course units in order to renew the scholarship.
SOCIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Granting of scholarships to enable international students from the PALOP indicated by partner Non-Governmental Organizations to access a Higher Professional Technical Course (TeSP) at a partner higher education institution. FCVC contributes 50% of the tuition fee, 70% of the application fee and 67% of the enrollment fee.
Porto Knowledge Scholarships
Scholarship established with the Porto City Council that allows candidates, previously selected within the scope of the “Porto Conhecimento” Project, to access the Higher Professional Technical Courses (TeSP), Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees at ISAG – European Business School.
Recognition of Social Responsibility and Sustainability Practices [RPRSS]
APEE – Portuguese Association of Business Ethics
In 2021, FCVC applied for the Recognition of Practices in Social Responsibility and Sustainability [RPRSS] – an initiative of APEE – the Portuguese Association of Business Ethics, which distinguishes the implementation of policies and models of good governance in public and private sector organizations, both profit and non-profit, with good practices in social responsibility and sustainability.
In this context, FCVC was distinguished with an Honorable Mention in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), within SDG 4 – Quality Education, for the practice of awarding Scholarships.
